On Friday 13th June, the St. Anthony’s College community came together in celebration of the school’s Annual Feast Day. The day began with a special Mass attended by both students and staff, as the college reflected on the values of faith, service, unity, and compassion that continue to guide the school community.

One of the most heartwarming moments of the celebration was an act of kindness led by Form 3 student, Zydan Hylegar, the youngest member of the Walk in Love Foundation. As part of the Feast Day activities, Zydan extended his compassionate initiative to his fellow schoolmates by distributing food hampers to students in need within the St. Anthony’s College community.

This meaningful outreach was made possible through the support of his mother, Natasha Prince, founding member of the Walk in Love Foundation, along with the encouragement and assistance of his teacher, Ms. Ramesar. Together, they continue to inspire positive change through acts of generosity, empathy, and community support.

The initiative served as a powerful reminder that even small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Zydan’s willingness to give back to his peers reflects the true spirit of the Feast Day celebration and demonstrates the importance of compassion, leadership, and service among the nation’s youth.

St. Anthony’s College proudly commends Zydan and all those involved for their dedication to uplifting others and fostering a culture of care and support within the school community.
